Grimvar rested very peacefully upon the soft, grassy forest floor. He loved this part of his territory, for so many stunning cherry blossom trees surrounded him round about. The petals of the great, beautiful trees seemed to always be falling, being carried gently on the breezes that came through the area of The Belachaim.
Everything was just so graceful here. He loved it so much, and was very proud to be The Lunaris Clan's Alpha Male, especially having taken the place of his mighty father, Nisaan. All he needed to do now was live up to his father's name, title and reputation, and get an Alpha Female; then he would be all set. He would have it all. Not that he would be doing it out of greed, but he certainly would enjoy having these nice, happy things. The Alpha would very much appreciate some normalcy.
He remembered all too vividly the incident with his brother Scorch, and it saddened him. But he pushed those thoughts to the back of his mind, forgetting them until a later date, and continued sunbathing in peace.

| A light breeze ruffled through Alistair's white fur, carrying the scent of an unknown pack on it. It was clear to him this land was owned by someone. Still, he couldn't resist the urge to spend a bit of time within the borders. Grass swayed and a sweet, flowery scent descended on another soft whisper of wind. As he wandered through the grass and trees, he noticed a stronger scent in the area. It was that of pack member. Alistair paused, turning his head up toward the direction the scent came from. He swayed in the wind, then made his decision. His large paws began carrying him toward the scent warily. He kept his tail low, knowing it was wrong of him to be on their territory, not to mention walking right up to a pack member while trespassing. If it seems dangerous, I will leave immediately, he told himself. He slowed to a near crawl as he drew closer to the other wolf. He bowed his head a bit before speaking. "Hello, stranger. It's a wonderful day, isn't it?" he said. His yellow eyes watched the wolf. His ears were pricked forward, listening for a reply or any sign of danger.
